This page explains, plainly, what data ASTREL receives when you use this website, what it is for and what you can ask us about it. It applies to astrelstudio.com.br and every page within it.

Who is responsible for your data

ASTREL, a studio for custom websites and web systems based in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, is the controller of the data collected on this website under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, the LGPD). For anything about your data, contact us through the channels at the end of this page.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form:

• your name, WhatsApp number and, if you provide it, e-mail;
• your business name and the links you paste (Instagram, Facebook or website);
• the message you write;
• where your visit came from: the page of the website where you submitted the form, the site that brought you here and, if you arrived through an ad or campaign link, that campaign's identifier.

The IP address of your connection is used at the moment of submission only to block repeated submissions in a row (bot protection). It is not stored with your data.

When you simply browse the website, measurement tools record usage data such as pages visited, visit duration, device type, browser, approximate city and button clicks. Details are in the section on cookies and measurement.

What we use it for

• Answering your request: building the preview of your website and talking to you about it on WhatsApp.
• Picking the conversation back up: if you fill in the form but never send the message on WhatsApp, we may get in touch to continue the service you asked for.
• Understanding what works on the website and in ads: knowing which pages and campaigns bring requests, so we can improve some and stop paying for the ones that don't work.

We use the form data because you asked for a service — the basis the LGPD calls preliminary procedures related to a contract, at the request of the data subject. Measurement data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website and ads working well.

Your data does not go on any mailing list. We do not sell it, rent it or use your contact details for anything beyond what is on this page.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that make the website work, and each one receives just what it needs for its part:

• Cloudflare — hosts the website and the database where requests are stored. It also measures visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics), without using cookies.
• Google — Google Analytics, to measure visits, and Google Ads, to know which ads brought requests.
• Meta — the Meta Pixel, to measure ads on Instagram and Facebook. The WhatsApp conversation, which is also Meta's, follows WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

These services may process data outside Brazil, in countries where they have servers, with the protection safeguards the LGPD requires for this type of transfer.

Cookies and measurement

Cookies are small files the website stores in your browser. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel use cookies to recognize visits and measure ads. Cloudflare's measurement does not use cookies.

While the tab is open, the website also remembers where your visit came from, so that this information goes along with the form if you submit it. This record disappears when you close the tab.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and turn off Google Analytics with the official Google add-on. The website keeps working normally without them.

How long we keep it

Form data is kept for as long as the conversation lasts and, if it doesn't turn into a contract, for up to 12 months after the last contact — so we can pick your request back up if you return. After that, it is deleted. If it does turn into a contract, we keep it for as long as the law requires for contractual and tax records.

Measurement data stays in Google's, Meta's and Cloudflare's tools for the period each of them defines.

How we protect it

The website only works over a secure connection (HTTPS), and requests are stored in a database with access restricted to the ASTREL team and protected by login.

Your rights

Under the LGPD, you can ask at any time for:

• confirmation that we hold data about you, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete, wrong or outdated data;
• deletion of your data;
• information about who it has been shared with;
• portability of the data to another provider.

Just contact us through the channels below. We reply within 15 days. If you believe your request wasn't met, you can also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

If you are outside Brazil

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California, you may also have rights under laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA. We handle those requests the same way, through the same channels: access, correction, deletion and objection to processing. We do not sell personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the website collects or who it is shared with, this page is updated and the date below changes with it.
